Back in 1999 I returned to playing bass of my youth to fill a void after retiring from 20+ years as a club DJ. My casual attitude soon subsided after being fortunate to be regularly jamming with established professional musicians.
By mid-2001 I was gigging regularly in cover bands playing Folk-rock, Pop, Reggae, Soul and Disco. Later I joined, recorded and toured with an original indie-pop band, both supporting and headlining.
I've an avid love for music. In playing I take influence from all varieties and am inspired by talent. I'm keen to keep active so I like to partake in interesting and challenging projects whenever I can.
I just love it!
